  • The Mash Tun is a bar on Woodstock Main Road with over 20 beers on tap and great specials throughout the day.
With 20 beers on tap, it's a must for the evening.

The Mash Tun is a classic bar in Woodstock with a pool table and just about every beer on tap. I wouldn’t call it a coffee shop or even a café but rather a traditional bar serving breakfast. It’s quite funny sipping on coffee and eating a breakfast bun while listening to midnight tunes blare in the background. The vibe inside is Woodstock’s typical up and coming vibe with filament bulbs and exposed pipes lining the roof.

Coffee & Food:

The coffee is pretty damn fine with latte art filling the entire cup to make you smile. While they do breakfasts, I’d recommend coming here after lunch time and grabbing a lunch and a coffee. However, if you’re driving through Woodstock in the morning, their breakfast menu is for sure cheap and cheerful. On the lunch menu, they’ve got a range of gourmet burgers and flatbread pizzas. However, what this place is all about, is beer, with over 20 craft beers on tap.

If you’re looking for a place to hang with some mates or a place to watch some live talent. Pop into The Mash Tun, located on 240 Sir Lowry Road in Woodstock.

  1. Valentine’s day 2019: service was shockingly poor – don’t tell me its because they were fully booked; if that’s what they want then they should be prepared for it. I booked 2 seats a month in advance because it was also my fiance’s birthday but when we got there we were told that we have to sit at the bar as there were no tables available. It was also a very hot evening but the doors were open and the aircon was off. Our food was late & we had to chase it up 3 times & ended up getting our own drinks. There was also no Manager in site to voice our grievances to. We will not be returning to this venue!!
