Atmosphere:
Starling & Hero Bicycle Café is one of the coolest cafes we’ve been into in a while. It’s located in the Woodstock Exchange and has a 1950’s Cape Town Café feel to it. Different bicycles hang on the wall and different cut wooden tables fill the floor. It’s the kind of café that will make you feel cool as a cucumber, with blues blasting in the background. Starling & Hero Bicycle Café is a place to plonk your bum and work for the day.
Coffee & Food:
The coffee is an experience of its own. No standard cappuccinos here. Expect mocha pots with milk on the side. It’s pretty damn delicious too, a fun flavoursome alternative to your standard espresso-based coffee. Other than coffee, they’ve got raw juices, smoothies and a range of natural remedies to cure that common cold. For breakfast, you can create your own muesli bowl adding whatever you feel is best for you. They’ve also got a range of salads, sarmies and wraps, made fresh every day for people to choose from.
