Atmosphere:
Red Sofa Café is a Cape Town styled café with unreal views of the Table Mountain. Red Sofa Café is a typical corner café with a wrap-around patio covering either side of the entrance. It’s got wooden tables and chairs for people to huddle around and enjoy the views and feel the passing breeze. On the inside, they’ve window-side tables for workers and readers to sit and stare at the passing action. It’s got this sort vibe where everybody chats and chills like they’ve been forced to sit on the same sofa. I guess that’s where the name comes from.
Coffee & Food:
I must say, the coffee is superb. It’s a Deluxe done exactly the way it should be. If you’re not feeling coffee, they’ve got health shots, breakfasts cocktails, juices and a range of winter warmers. As any classic café should be, they offer breakfast all damn day. They’ve got about every breakfast you can imagine, and I can guarantee you, they’re all wholesome and fresh. My favourites include the “Breakfast Bowl” and the “Effin’ Delicious Stack” which are both wholesome and delicious. On the lunch menu, they’ve got salads, wraps, burgers and a couple light bites. If you’re feeling peckish, they’ve got muffins, pastries and a bit of booze if you’re looking to get a little lit.
