Newbury Cafe is a Place to Take your In-Laws
Newbury Café is a something they refer to as a deli and home. This couldn’t be closer to the truth. The vibe inside Newbury Café feels like you’re inside your mother in-law’s tea room, everything perfectly placed. Newbury Café a place that’s got all the sophisticated essentials; champagne, marmalades, soaps and sweets. It’s definitely a great place to plonk your working butt for the day with plug points all-around and great Wi-Fi. I’d recommend it if you’re meeting someone for the first time as the wall is full of stuff to make small talk about.
The coffee is strong and tasty, a medium roasted bean originating from Africa, Asia and Central & South America. It’s their own blend and it’s not half bad. For non-coffee drinkers, Newbury Café has a range of teas, smoothies and raw juices to keep you feeling fresh. If you’re looking for a nibble, their carrot cake, cheese cake or red velvet cake may tickle your fancy. If you’re properly hungry, they’ve got a range of classic breakfasts, salads, artisan sandwiches and mouth-watering mains. The menu is moderately priced but admittingly a few things are out of my budget. However if you ask nicely, I’m sure they’ll tell you about their seductive specials.
