  • Molten Toffee on Kloof Street has delicious coffee and food for take-aways or sitting in.
The coffee is pretty divine, we must admit.

Atmosphere:

Molten Toffee is a great little coffee shop located at the bottom of Kloof Street. Molten Toffee is basically Cape Town’s vibe wrapped into a single spot. Beautiful art covers the wall, hip music fills the store and beards, boobs and bums all gather in the side street café. The tables, chairs and green plants outside make it feel like a little oasis in the city centre.

Coffee & Food:

The coffee is delicious, a full-bodied explosion that pops with power on the palate. If you’re feeling fruity and in need of some nutrients, they’ve got fresh pressed juices to rehydrate you once again. While it’s moderately priced, it’s more of a quick meal type of joint. On the menu they’ve got a range of simple breakfasts and sandwiches to stop your stomach from eating itself.

We’d definitely recommend it as a spot to hang with friends and grab a quick coffee & lunch.
