Hang Ten Café is an awesome spot located above the iconic Gary’s Surf School, one of Muizenberg’s original surf institutions. It’s a wide, open shop allowing for plenty of natural light to pour right in. It’s a fantastic place to work with plenty of seating by the windows. You can stare out and get lost in the deep blue bubbling abyss. Inside is filled with wooden aesthetics, surf boards, colours and art pieces hanging from the ceiling and on the walls.
Coffee & Food:
The coffee is fresh and flavoursome, much like the sea breeze flowing through the window into your hair. The baristas definitely know what they’re up here. It’s a real hippie’s home with almost everything being vegan, even down to the butterless croissants. Their menu is both healthy and conscious, but their focus is on breakfasts which will satisfy any surfer. They’ve also got a range of baked goods, tons of crepes and a couple salads and sarmies.
