  • Dalebrook Cafe is a coffee shop located on Saint James Main Road.
It's located in a building dating back to 1895.

Atmosphere:

Dalebrook Café is the latest edition to the range of Kalk Bay cafes, located just above the iconic Dalebrook pool. The café looks out over the railway tracks with the blue ocean stretching out behind it. The building dates back to 1895 and feels like a typical Cape Town café with its big open windows. It’s got plenty of seating inside, with tables perfect for 2 – 4 people or window side tables for the singletons. We’d recommend it as a work place for the day or as a place for the family to escape to.

Coffee & Food:

The coffee is delicious, full of flavours and aromas. An Uber coffee made beautifully with gorgeous latte art on top. Dalebrook Café also have freshly pressed juices, super juices, smoothies and health shots if you’re looking for something different. For breakfast, they’ve got omelettes, eggs/anchovies/avocado on toast or some fresh summer fruit bowls.  On the lunch menu, they’ve got a range of pastas, salads and a couple freshly sourced fishy dishes. We’d definitely recommend this place for the food and the ambience, it’s delicious and relaxing.

  1. First time here today, and already considering becoming a regular.
Longboards in hand and dripping with water after a swim, we were warmly welcomed into Dalebrook Cafe. The nutty vegan cake is a win! And the flat white of course.
    Thanks for the recommendation, Seb!
