Common Ground Cafe is one of the best coffee shops in Rondebosch. It’s situated on the corner of Milner and Park Road and overlooks the Rondebosch Common and Devil’s Peak. Common Ground is a church but if you’re not a Christian, don’t be put off because the café is welcoming to all. It’s the perfect place to work in Rondebosch but unfortunately it doesn’t have Wi-Fi so ensure you bring your own. If you’re looking for a place to have a meeting or go on a casual date, we’d highly recommend it.
Coffee & Food:
The coffee at Common Ground is easily the best coffee in Rondebosch. It’s full of flavour, filling your palate with Origin’s finest seasonal blends. If it’s too hot for coffee, they’ve got a range of smoothies, shakes and iced drinks to cool you down. Breakfast is served until 11:30 and consists of benedict’s, bacon & eggs, omelettes, granolas and vegan alternatives. On the lunch menu, they’ve got sandwiches, burgers, wraps, salads and quesadillas. Best thing is, it won’t break the bank either.
