  • Clarkes Bree Street is a coffee shop located on Bree Street.
It just looks and feels like a Cape Town classic.

Atmosphere:

Clarke’s is a classic dinner styled coffee shop located on Bree Street. It’s got a real elegance about it, everything crafted to a T, not in a pretentious way at all. If you’re a lone ranger, you can sit at the long coffee counter or at big tables scattered around.  They’ve got a couple small tables at the window inside and a couple outside if it’s a hot day. Group of 4? No worries, because they’ve got lots of dinner styled booths, perfect for meetings, dates or just general lunches. It’s got a hipster vibe to it for sure, but it’s cool and accommodates everybody who walks through the door.

Coffee and Food:

The coffee is simply delicious, well balanced between creamy and delicious, but also offering that dark decadent taste. The coffee is Deluxe and the art on top is beautiful, putting a fat smile on your face. All baked goods are as fresh as they come. Either baked in-house every morning or ordered in fresh directly from Woodstock bakery. As a diner should be, they offer all day breakfasts. In addition to this, Clark’s also serve salads, sandwiches, burgers and beers. Keep your eyes peeled too because they’ve got a range of superb specials to put less weight on your wallet.
