  • Caffe Sienna is a coffee shop located on Duke Road in Rondebosch.
It's small but that's half the appeal.

Caffe Sienna is a coffee shop located next to the Train Station in Rondebosch. It’s a small, cute and cosy spot with white walls and tables. It’s got big café-styled windows that gaze out upon the green trees that stand in the distance. Caffee Sienna is a great community watering hole to grab a quick cup of coffee on the way to work. If you’re looking for more of an oasis, the Wi-Fi is phenomenal, making it a great place to knuckle down and get some work done quickly. It’s a superb spot for parents and kids, old friends looking to catch up or if you just feel like taking a break from your surroundings.

Coffee & Food:

Their coffee is pretty decent, enough to put a strong spring in your step to start your day.  Other drinks include teas, sodas and milkshakes. Breakfast is served until 2pm and consists of English muffins, anchovy toast, French toast and salmon scrambled eggs. For lunch, they’ve got a range of gourmet sandwiches and tramezzini’s which are all reasonably priced and full of flavour.

Kim opened the restaurant 8 years ago as she felt she wanted to create something unique and authentic. At the time, she had recently just become a single mom and wanted to build a lifestyle that gave her the flexibility to be a full-time mom. With this in mind, she began searching for the perfect space to open her cafe. The search didn’t take long, when her mom quickly offered to divide her hairdresser in Rondebosch in two, making space for a coffee shop. Being a single mom, she decided to dedicate the coffee shop to her daughter, naming it Cafe Sienna (after her daughter name, “Sienna”). 8 years later, both the coffee shop and the hairdresser remain running, with a single door connecting the two entities.
