  • The backyard cafe is a coffee shop in constantia and heathfield
It's gorgeous but make sure it's a clear warm day.

Atmosphere:

The Backyard Cafe is an adorable little coffee shop located in Heathfield. Backyard cafe is gorgeous and green, having an almost Alice in Wonderland feel to it. Seating is mainly in the back garden with different sized tables and chairs scattered between the plants and veggies. It’s a fantastic spot to go on a hot summer’s day or just on a casual Sunday with the family.

Coffee & Food:

The coffee is pretty good, an Origin done well but not the best in town. As a backyard should, they’ve got fresh pressed juices, smoothies and a couple healthy brews. The menu is wholesome and has an almost family feel to it, expect food your parents would make at home. It’s full of flavour and delicious, but as the name suggests it’s definitely not fine dining.
